Project Overview

In this project, PT Elbema Integra Indonesia successfully performed High Pressure Waterjet Cleaning on process piping systems at the production facility of PT Indo Bharat Rayon, located in Purwakarta, West Java. This work was part of a preventive maintenance program to ensure cleanliness and efficiency in the pipe systems supporting rayon fiber manufacturing processes.

The cleaning procedure utilized high pressure water up to 20,000 psi delivered through specialized nozzles and high-capacity pump units, targeting the internal surfaces of the pipes. The primary objective was to remove scale, chemical residues, and blockages that could disrupt fluid flow, reduce thermal efficiency, and potentially lead to production downtime.

The operation was executed by a certified technical team following stringent operational and safety protocols, including real-time pressure monitoring and full use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The results demonstrated a significant improvement in system flow performance and pressure stability, contributing to overall production reliability.
