Project Overview

PT Elbema Integra Indonesia successfully executed the cleaning of several heat exchanger units during the Turn Around (TA) at PERTAMINA RU VI Balongan. This maintenance project played a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of refinery operations post-shutdown.

The cleaning process utilized rotary nozzle technology operating at 6,000 psi, designed to maximize cleaning effectiveness while minimizing risk to the internal surfaces of the finfan. This method allowed for efficient removal of scale, fouling, and hardened deposits from both the shell and tube sides. All activities were carried out by certified technicians under strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols in accordance with oil and gas industry standards.

Following the cleaning, detailed visual inspections and documentation were completed to verify the restored condition and readiness of the units. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in heat transfer performance and operational reliability.
